Weekly Wrap-up

-U10 Girls - Comp Division -

The Lebanon girls took on a talented and disciplined WAM team on Thursday night. After falling behind by a goal early, Lebanon got goals from both Roslynn Constant and Natalie Charron and went into the half leading by a goal. WAM scored to tie the game midway through the second half. The last 10 minutes were intense as both teams threatened to take the lead, but time would expire with the score knotted at 2. Hazel Huntington and Roslynn Constant both turned in gems while tending the goal.

On Saturday the girls from Lebanon traveled to Ellington for an early morning match. Lebanon jumped out to an early lead after goals were scored by both Natalie Charron and Norah Constant. Ellington then put 2 on the board to tie the game up prior to the half. Lebanon threatened to score again in the second half, but was unable to find the back of the net, and would have to settle for their second 2-2 tie in a row.

This week the girls travel north to Brooklyn to take on NECONN on Saturday. Then Sunday morning they will get a shot at redemption as Coventry comes to town for their second meeting of the season.

-U10 Boys - Rec Division-

Lebanon won their second game against Tolland C Saturday 2-1 to move to 2-0.  Both goals were scored Bentley Branciforte. The defense was stout again. 

-U11 Girls - Comp Division -

The Lebanon girls played Coventry Saturday - a very evenly and tough match, the girls grinded out the win 2-1

On Sunday they hosted WAM under the lights at Lions, a great soccer atmosphere . Girls showed great sportsmanship in a 6-1 win.

They will play home again 11am at Lions vs Ellington this Saturday 9/23
